presented by the National Lacrosse Tour
The Event
The US Open is the third stop on the National Lacrosse Tour and the last proving ground before the Tour Championship at Champ Camp. Presented by the National Lacrosse Tour, the US Open is not just a tournament. It is a full-scale lacrosse experience that blends elite competition, positional training, and individual player development into one unforgettable weekend.
Every player who steps on the field at the US Open has earned their invitation. Spots are limited. Rosters are set. The competition is real.
Event Format
The US Open features four teams of 18 players, built by position:
4 Attackmen · 5 Midfielders · 2 Faceoff Specialists · 5 Defenders · 2 Goalies
BIRTH YEAR DIVISIONS: 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015
Coaching
Youth division teams are coached by some of the top private school coaches in the country. Every training session and every game is an opportunity to learn from the coaches who develop elite players at the high school level and to get in front of the programs that matter most for your recruiting future.
What to Expect
Saturday Evening: Media Day and Opening Ceremonies
The weekend begins Saturday night following the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Semifinals. Players check in for Media Day, where each athlete is individually spotlighted and content is captured and added directly to their player profile page. The evening closes with Opening Ceremonies to kick off the US Open.
Sunday: Practice and Round Robin Competition
Sunday opens with a practice session before competition begins. Round robin games run throughout the day, with every performance tracked toward each player’s NLT ranking.
Monday: Championship Day
Championship games are held in the early part of Monday, wrapping up in time for players and families to attend the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship at Lincoln Financial Field. The US Open is the only elite youth lacrosse event in the country that puts players inside the biggest weekend in college lacrosse.
